KIWAWAVITA plans to establish a National Demonstration Farm that will provide practical learning, research and production opportunities for Deaf farmers, livestock keepers and beekeepers.
The farm is intended to serve as a national centre where participants can learn through hands-on experience, observe modern agricultural technologies and strengthen their practical skills.
What the Farm Will Provide

Practical Training Centre
A dedicated environment where Deaf farmers can receive practical agricultural, livestock and beekeeping training.

Research & Innovation Site
A platform for testing farming methods, technologies and practical solutions that can improve productivity.

Model Farm
A demonstration site showcasing modern agricultural practices and technologies that farmers can learn from and apply.

Livestock Demonstration Unit
A practical learning area focused on improved livestock management, animal health, nutrition and production systems.

Beekeeping Training Centre
A dedicated area for learning modern beekeeping, apiary management, honey production and related activities.

Production & Income Generation
The farm will also support agricultural production and income-generating activities that contribute to programme sustainability.

National Learning Centre
A space where Deaf farmers from different regions can meet, learn, exchange knowledge and gain practical experience.

Partnership Platform
The farm will provide opportunities for collaboration with government institutions, research organizations, private-sector companies, donors and development partners.
