KIWAWAVITA plans to establish a specialized Research & Innovation Centre focused on developing practical, evidence-based solutions for Deaf farmers, livestock keepers and beekeepers.
The centre will support research, testing, data collection, innovation and accessible agricultural technologies that can improve productivity and strengthen sustainable livelihoods.

Deaf Agriculture Research Unit
Conducting research focused on the agricultural needs, challenges and opportunities of Deaf farmers.

Supporting research on animal health, nutrition, breeding and improved livestock production.

Beekeeping Research Unit
Developing knowledge and practical solutions for modern beekeeping, honey production and related activities.

Soil Testing Laboratory
Supporting soil analysis to help farmers make better decisions about crop production and land use.

Water Testing Unit
Assessing water quality and suitability for agriculture, livestock and other productive activities.

Seed Testing Unit
Supporting the assessment of seed quality to improve crop establishment and productivity.

Livestock Feed Analysis Unit
Analysing livestock feeds to support better nutrition, animal health and production.

Climate & Environmental Research Unit
Studying climate and environmental conditions that affect agriculture, livestock keeping and beekeeping.

Agricultural Data & Statistics Unit
Collecting and analysing data to support research, planning and evidence-based decision-making.
